Congratulations to our 2023 Scholarship Recipients
I am pleased to have chosen SEEM as my major course for my undergraduate studies. Unlike other engineering majors, SEEM has provided me with a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge in both business and engineering. Through this major, I have gained a solid understanding of business principles relating to finance and management as well as engineering concepts such as design, development, and problem-solving. This major has also equipped me with a diverse skill set that has transformed me into a well-rounded individual and provided me with flexibility to work in various jobs. I am now confident in my ability to adapt to new situations, think critically, and solve complex problems from multiple perspectives.
Studying at SEEM has been a wonderful and fruitful experience. The department has been helpful in providing me with all the necessary resources to facilitate my studies. SEEM offers a wide range of courses, which has provided me with broad exposure and equipped me with both technical skills and business knowledge. The programme also taught me how to put my knowledge into practice. I learned how to use mathematical models and methodologies in business systems to improve efficiency and efficacy. Through computer and mathematics courses, I learned how to evaluate data, find solutions, and solve complex problems. I also honed my problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and logical reasoning skills. Overall, my experience at SEEM has laid a strong foundation for my career.
As a sophomore at SEEM, I am grateful that I decided to pursue this major. Through courses in Java and other programming languages, SEEM has not only provided me with a solid technical foundation but also taught me about business and finance while honing my problem-solving skills. I truly appreciate the incredibly supportive professors who have guided me through this journey. I have complete confidence in my SEEM background and will continue to strive for greater goals.
